Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In the course of this study the partition coefficient (Pow) of Ammonium Adipate was
determined using high performance liquid chromatography.
Retention times measured for Ammonium Adipate (1.64 min (Method 1), 2.34 min (Method
2) and 1.50 min (Method 3)) are lower than the retention time of the first eluting standard;
2-Butanone (3.76 min (Method 1), 3.74 (Method 2) and 3.82 min (Method 3)). This result
shows that log Pow of Ammonium Adipate is lower than the calibrated range.
Using the HPLC method the log Pow of Ammonium Adipate was determined to be < 0.3.
