Based on the measured surface tension of 36.4 mN/m at 20°C, acylglycinate GCK-11 -T has surface active properties.
Executive summary:

The surface tension of acylglycinate GCK-11 -T was investigated in a study conducted according to EU Method A.5 (Surface Tension) and OECD Guideline 115 (Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions). The surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test item (1 g/L) was determined to be 36.4 mN/m at 20°C (mean value of 6 measurements). Based on this result, acylglycinate GCK-11 -T has surface active properties according to European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 and OECD 115 (1995).
