Results with reference substance (positive control):
7 days after exposure with 3,5-dichlorophenol tested on Lemna minor, the results were the following:
-at 2.2 mg/L: 62.12% yield inhibition compared to the control and 36.55% growth inhibition compared to the control.
-at 3.8 mg/L: 88.19% yield inhibition compared to the control and 69.46% growth inhibition compared to the control.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
Based on frond number, the NOErC was 100 mg test item.L-1 and both the LOErC and ErC50 were > 100 mg test item.L-1 (basis for effect: growth rate).
Based on dry weight, the NOEyC was 100 mg test item.L-1 and both the LOEyC and EyC50 were > 100 mg test item.L-1 (basis for effect: yield).
