Materials and methods

Test guideline
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.9 (Flash-Point)
Deviations:
not specified
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The flash point of test item BF3-Piperidin-Komplex was determined in accordance with the test method A.9. "Flash Point" as described in the Official Journal of the European Communities L383A.
The Pensky-Martens apparatus can't be used, because the appearance of the test item prevents the continuous stirring.
Therefore from the mentioned test methods only the test procedure (S)21N04005.04 was used.
In difference to the test method (S)21N04005.04 the flash point determination was carried out by taking 2 resp. 4 g of the test item instead of 2 resp. 4 ml.
Measuring date: 2017-07-26
Actual air pressure: 1004 hPa (corrected: 1013 hPa)
With the information of the pre test the test procedures VTA(S)21N04005.04 was used
