Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Test

Freezing / Melting Temperature

1.

< –100 °C

2.

< –100 °C

Mean value:

< –100 °C (<173 K)

The DSC diagrams show no freezing temperature (no exothermic peak) and no melting temperature (no endothermic peak) which is higher than –100°C (173 K).

There was no indication of any discernible decomposition in the diagrams.

Conclusions:
A melting point value of <-100 °C at 1013 hPa was determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol. It was not compliant with GLP.
