Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
physician if irritating symptoms develop and persist.
Emergency measure - Eyes: After contact with the eyes: Rinse eyes with running water.
If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
Emergency measure - Skin: After contact with the skin: Rinse skin immediately with
copious amounts of water. Immediately remove contaminated
clothing. Consult a physician if any symptoms develop.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: The substance is combustible and will burn if involved in a
fire evolving noxious fumes (eg carbon and nitrogen oxides).
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and a self-contained breathing
apparatus must be worn.
Fight the fire from a safe distance or protected location.
Accidental release measures
supervision wearing air hoods and specified PPE. Collect and
dispose waste in licensed site incinerator. Decontaminate
personnel and equipment.
Handling and storage
in case of open handling of small quantities. Open handling
without suitable personal protective equipment must be
avoided. Avoid formation of dust. Keep warehouse clean.
Avoid leaving residues on the package.
Storage: Observe the usual precautionary measures required for
chemicals with dust explosive properties (observe national
regulations).
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Doverpac containers stored in fibre drums.

Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: None reported.
Dust explosion: Positive.
Dust explosion determined by test: Y
Disposal considerations
minor spillage or accidental discharge is not economically
or technically feasible and such waste material will be
disposed of by incineration. In principle, it may be
possible to recover larger spillage of uncontaminated
material for subsequent use.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The notification tests have shown that the substance is
harmful to the environment, a skin sensitizer, irritant to
the eyes and there is a concern for potential mutagenicity.
No chemical treatment is practicable to neutralise the
hazardous health properties. The dust hazard will be
controlled by the use of appropriate handling and storage
measures, No chemical treatment is practicable to
neutralise the hazardous environmental properties.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages will not be disposed by
landfill.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance will be disposed by incineration which will be
burned under controlled conditions at licensed waste
treatment processor in accordance with local regulations.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not be discharged to the sewage system
or the aqueous environment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
