Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
After inhalation: Provide fresh air. Seek medical treatment in case of troubles.
In case of skin contact: Remove resdues with water. Take off immediately all contaminatedclothing. In case of skin reactions, consult a physician.
After eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart. Subsequently consult an Ophthalmologist.
After swallowing: Drink large quantities of water. Seek medical attention.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: No special measures are required.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Water fog, foam, extinguishing powder, carbon dioxide
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Can be released in case of fire: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for friefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear suitable protective Clothing. No not say in dangerous zone without self-contained breathing apparatus.
Additional information: Hazchem-Code: -
Use water spray jet to knock down vapours. Do not allow fire water to penetrate into surface or ground water.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Keep containers tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed containers. No special precautions necessary if used correctly.
Environmental precautions
Do not allow to penetrate into soil, waterbodies or drains.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Collect mechanically.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Advices on safe handling: Keep containers tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed containers. No special precautions necessary if used correctly.
Precautions against fire and explosion: Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage Requirements to be met by storerooms and containers: No special requirements.
Information about storage in one common storage facility: Store away from oxidizing agents.
Further information about storage conditions
Keep containers tightly sealed.

Additional information about design of technical systems
Properly operating chemical fume hood designed for hazardous Chemicals and having an average face velocity of at least 100 Feet per minute.
Control parameters
Components with critical values that require monitoring at the workplace: Not required.
Personal protective equipment:
General protective and hygienic measures: The usual precautionary measures should be adhered to in handling the chemicals. Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and food. Instantly remove any soiled and impregnated garments. Wash hands during breaks and at the end of the work.
Breathing equipment: Use breathing protection with high concentrations.
Protection of hands: Check protective gloves prior to each use for their proper Condition.
Material of gloves: The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from
manufacturer to manufacturer.
Eye proteciton: Safety glasses.
Body protection: Protective work clothing.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.
Chemical stability: Product is stable under normal conditions.
Possiblility of hazardous reactions: No dangerous reactions known
Conditions to avoid: Strong heating
Incompatible materials: Oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
Consult state, local or national regulations for proper disposal. Hand over to disposers of hazardous waste. Must be specially treated under adherence to offical regulations.
