Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: Remove from exposure. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
Consult a doctor if irritation develop or persist.
After inhalation: Remove to fresh air. In case of sickness or symptoms appeared consult a
physician.
After skin contact: Wash immediately effected skin area thoroughly with copious amount of
water and soap.
After eye contact: Rinse the eyes with water for at least 20 minutes with eyelids open wide.
Obtain medical, ophthalmologic attention immediately.
After swallowing: Wash out the mouth with clear water if the patient is conscious.
Consult with a physician.
Most important symptoms and effects,
both acute and delayed:
Not available.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
Treat symptomatically and supportively.
No specific antidote.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide, extinguishing powder, foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Unknown.
Special hazards arising from the
substance or mixture:CO, CO2, HCl
Advice for firefighters: When extinguishing fires, use breathing apparatus with an independent
source of air.
Collect extinguishing water to prevent it from draining to the sewer system.
Fire hazard class Flammable solid
Fire and explosion hazard Combustible material. Dustair mixture may ignite or explode.
Take measures against static electricity.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Wear protective equipment described in section 8.
Environmental precautions: Hinder substance from entering soil, sewers or living water.
Methods and material for containment
and cleaning up:
Cleanup spilled material avoiding raising dust using vacuum.
Collect the material in a properly labelled container, show on the label
“hazardous waste, for disposal”. Dispose the hazardous waste by incineration. Wash spill site thoroughly with water after material pickup is complete. Do not let the material and the contaminated water to sewers, drains, underground or living waters. Collect the water in a suitable container, label the container properly and dispose in a similar way to the material itself.
Handling and storage
Handling: As a general rule avoid all contact with the material.
Use protective equipment.
Safety measures: Local and general ventilation required.
Handle under extracting hood in the laboratories.
Take measures against static electricity.
Fire and explosion protection measures:
Combustible material.
Take measures against electrostatic discharges.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Keep in tightly closed and labelled storage containers. Keep in dry and cool
place. Protect from heat and light.

Exposure controls / personal protection
National occupational exposure limit values:AK: None ; CK: None ; MK: None
Other occupational exposure limit values: No data.
Relevant regulations and recommended monitoring procedures:
91/322/EEC; 98/24/EC directives and its modifications (2000/39/EC, 2006/15/EC)
Exposure controls:
Appropriate engineering controls: Suitable general and local exhaust ventilation.
Personal protection equipment
Eye/face protection: Tightlyfitting safety goggles protecting from dust.
Hand protection: Chemical resistant gloves.
Respiratory protection: Dust mask (FFP3) or gas mask with white, P3 filter cartridge.
Personal protection, general hygienic measures:
Avoid any possibility of direct contact with substance while manipulating.
Environmental exposure controlls: Do not let into drains.
Material and contaminated packaging should handle as hazardous wastes.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: Stable under normal temperature and pressure.
Stability: Stable at normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Not known.
Conditions to avoid (heat, pressure,
light, shock):
Ensure storage specifications (See in Section 7.)
Protect from heat.
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidising agents.
Hazardous decomposition products CO, CO2, HCl
Disposal considerations
Disposal of the product related waste:
Dispose the product according to national, state and local regulations.
Disposal of contaminated packaging:
Dispose according to the state and local regulations.
Relevant community, national and regional provisions:
Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 November 2008 on waste Directive 91/689/EEC of hazardous wastes.
