Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
DV-SOLV 1059 has no acute toxic effects on zebra fish up to the concentration of 100 mg/l under the tested conditions.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
One reliable key study (Lab research, 2010) is available for this endpoint. The acute toxicity of the DV-SOLV 1059 to zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio) was determined in a 96 -hour static test according to the EU Commission Directive 92/69/EEC, Part C.1,the EPA Health Effects Test Guidelines (OPPTS 850.1075) and the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals N°203 (1992). The validity criteria were met and the study has been performed in accordance with the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice Regulations.
A limit test was performed in accordance with the guidelines to demonstrate that the test item has no toxic effect on the test organisms at the concentration of 100 mg/l. Thus, the only concentration tested was nominal 100 mg/l. Additionally, a control was tested in parallel.
The correcting measured test item concentration was 86.3 mg/l at the start and 91.6 mg/l at the end of the test.
The deviation from the nominal concentration was 14% at the start and 8% at the end of the test.
Because of the deviation from the nominal concentration was less than 20% throghout the test, the results are based on the niminal concentration.
In the control and at the test concentration of 100 mg/l, no mortality or other visible abnormalities were determined at the test fish during the period of 96 hours.
The summary of the biological results is as follows :
The 24h, 48h, 72h and 96h LC50value: > 100mg test item/L
96h LC0(NOEC) value: 100mg test item/L
96h LOEC value: > 100mg test item/L
96h LC100value: > 100mg test item/L
