Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information:
Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.
After inhalation:
Remove casualty to fresh air and keep at rest.
After contact with skin:
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with water and soap.
After contact with eyes:
In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm water and seek medical advice.
After ingestion:
When swallowed seek medical aid immediately and show the physician the packaging or the label of the packaging.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray jet, foam.
Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons:
Full water jet.
Special hazards from the substance itself, its combustion products or from its vapours:
In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO), Hydrogen chloride (HCl).
Special protective equipment for firefighting:
In case of fire, wear respiratory protection.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
Do not inhale dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Environmental precautions:
Do not discharge product into surface and/or ground waters.
Methods for cleaning up/taking up:
Take up mechanically.
Clean contaminated objects and floors thoroughly with water and detergents, observing environmental regulations.
When picked up, treat material as prescribed under heading "Disposal considerations".
Containers in which spilt substance has been collected must be adequately labelled.
Handling and storage

Exposure controls / personal protection
During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained in accordance with Art. 18.
Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment technical, organizational and PPE measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.
Occupational exposure controls
General protective measures:
Do not inhale dust.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
General health measures:
Keep away from foods and drinks.
Wash hands before breaks and after work.
Respiratory protection:
Dust mask
Hand protection:
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) gloves.
Breakthrough time (maximal wear duration): not determined
Thickness of the glove material: not determined
Note the manufacturers´ detailed statements about permeability and breakthrough times. Consider also the particular working conditions under which the gloves are being used.
Eye protection:
Safety glasses/Face shield.
Stability and reactivity
Thermal decomposition: > 400 °C (heating rate: 3 K/min)
Method: DSC
Disposal considerations
Product: Send to a special waste incineration plant following consultation with waste management company
Uncleaned packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste
