- Executive summary:
The determination of boiling point test was measured under GLP according to OECD 103 / EU A2 guideline, by differential scanning calorimetry method. Two samples of test substance were placed in crucible with pierced lid and were subjected to a thermal program from 25 -600 °C at 10 °C/min. Two determinations were performed.
No boiling temperature of the test item has been recorded.
Reference
Two test were performed at following conditions:
Assay No. 4
Gas used: Nitrogen
Ventilation: Yes
Atmospheric pressure: 96.8 kPa
Crucible used: Aluminium, 120 µL, with pierced lid
Mass of test item: 6.30 mg
Program: Phase 1: Isotherm at about 25 °C for 5 min
Heating phase from 25 °C to 600 °C at 10 °C/min
Result: No boiling point was recorded.
Assay No. 5
Gas used: Nitrogen
Ventilation: Yes
Atmospheric pressure: 96.8kPa
Crucible used: Aluminium, 120 µL, with pierced lid
Mass of test item: 5.99 mg
Program: Phase 1: Isotherm at about 25 °C for 5 min
Heating phase from 25 °C to 600 °C at 10 °C/min

Description of key information
No boiling point was recorded under nitrogen atmosphere.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized OECD/EC method and under GLP, is available. It is considered as a key study.
The boiling point was measured by differential scanning calorimetry method. Two determinations were performed using a thermal program from 25 to 600 °C with a heating rate of 10 °C/min.
