Any other information on results incl. tables
- Sublethal observations / clinical signs:
A limit test was performed in accordance with the test guidelines to demonstrate that water accomodated fractions (WAFs) of the test item have no toxic effect on test fish up to the loading rate of 100 mg/L. Thus, the only treatment tested was a WAF with the loading rate of 100 mg/L in parallel to a control.
In the control and the test medium no mortality or other visible abnormalities were determined at the test fish during the test period of 96 hours.
Therefore, the 96 -hour NOEC, and the LC0 (96h) of SALACOS 222 were determined to be at least at the loading rate of 100 mg/L. The LOEC, LC100 and the LC50 at the observation times could not be qualified due to the absence of a toxic effect of the test item at the tested concentration.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The 96-hours NOEC of the test item can be assumed to be higher than 100 mg/L
