Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based on the rate of biodegradation of 60-70 % CO2/ThCO2 at the end of exposure the test substance can be evaluated as biodegradable in this test. Failing the 10-day window.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable but failing 10-day window

Additional information

The degree of biodegradation at the end of the ten day window was approx. 43% CO2/ThCO2. The degree of biodegradation after an exposure period of 28 days was 60-70 % CO2/ThCO2 in this test. The degree of biodegradation was calculated as mean of the values from two test assays at the end of exposure. Based on the rate of biodegradation of 60-70 % CO2/ThCO2 at the end of exposure the test substance can be evaluated as biodegradable in this test. (BASF SE, 2014)
