Description of key information

Weight of evidence approach based on three peer-reviewed values from handbooks (1.2, 1.2047 and 1.2-1.21 g/cm³ at 20°C) was used to indicate the density of propylene carbonate.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.2

Additional information

The values are close in range, therefore the mean rounded-up values is used. One supporting value (1.21 g/cm³ at 20°C) is in conformity with the weight of evidence values.
