Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One study addressing short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is presented in the dossier.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates.001 – daphnia -1983 – key: Acute toxicity to Daphnia magna was assessed in a manner similar to OECD guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test) not according to GLP (pre-dates GLP requirements). The study was conducted in triplicate closed glass flasks containing nominal concentrations of 0, 46, 99, 210, 460, or 1000 mg/L.  Immobility was recorded at 24 and 48 hours and probit analysis was used to calculate the EC50. The 48-hour EC50 for Immobility was determined to be 190 mg/L.
