First-aid measures
Get medical attention if cough or other symptoms develop.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with large amounts of soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Ingestion is not considered a potential route of exposure.
However, if this happens, seek immediate medical attention.

Product arising from burning: The substance is combustible and will burn if involved in a
fire, evolving noxious fumes (eg carbon dioxide and carbon
monoxide).

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus pressure-demand MSHA/NIOSH (approved or
equivalent) must be worn.
Fight the fire from a safe distance or protected location.
Avoid breathing smoke, fumes and decomposition products.
Accidental release measures
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment conforming to
the relevant national or international standards.
Avoid dust formation. Sweep up powder or absorb spillages of
solutions with a suitable inert material (eg. sand or
soil). Carefully transfer the spillage to waste containers,
or use a sealed industrial vacuum machine. Containers filled
with waste material must be labelled in the same way as the
original substance containers.
Dispose of waste material in accordance with local
regulations by incineration.
Handling and storage
conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with
any local regulations in order to avoid exposure.
Avoid prolonged contact with skin or eyes. Do not handle in
a manner that creates excessive dust. Provide appropriate
ventilation and secure container after each use.
Engineering controls are necessary to reduce exposure to the
substance.
When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled
appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn.
Such protective equipment should conform to the appropriate
international or national standards as follows;

Furthermore, when respiratory protective equipment has to be
used, it must be capable of adequately controlling
exposure, be suitable for the purpose, and conform to the
appropriate international or national standards, such as a
dust mask conforming to EN149 FFP1.
These measures should be regarded as minimum.
Storage: Should be stored in a dry, well ventillated area. Container
should be kept secure after use.

Dust explosion: Under normal conditions of use this material does not
present a significant explosion hazard. However, as with
most powder samples, explosive mixtures can be formed with
sufficient concentrations of dust combined with air.

Disposal considerations
minor spillages or accidental discharge is not economically
or technically feasible, as such waste material will be
disposed of by incineration or landfill. In principle, it
may be possible to recover larger spillages of
uncontaminated material for subsequent use.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The notification tests have shown that the substance is not
provisionally classified as 'dangerous'.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The waste from the pure substance and the formulated product
will be incinerated.
The end product, 'plastics' will be disposed of with other
minicipal waste at landfill sites at the end of their life
cycle. The possibility of leakage at this life cycle stage
is very slim as the notified chemical is blended into the
plastics.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance can be disposed of by incineration by burning
under controlled conditions at a licensed waste treatment
processor in accordance with local regulations. Stack gases
should be scrubbed, because noxious fumes (eg. carbon
dioxide and carbon monoxide) could be formed.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not normally be discharged directly to
the sewage system or the aqueous environment.
