Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- As already mentioned above, all test conditions were fulfilled during the performed water flea Daphnia magna reproduction study.
10% mortality of parential females of water flea Daphnia magna in the control group was recorded. The first offspring in the control appeared as soon as on day 6 (i.e.before day 11), the mean number of surviving juveniles per parent organism in the control was 138. Variation coefficient of the number of surviving juveniles per parent individual in the control=10.9% and therefore the results of the water flea Daphnia magna reproduction toxicity test are considered valid. According to the results of the water flea Daphnia magna reproduction toxicity test the following value were determined for the test substance DASTIB 845:
21d EC50= 0.19 mg/L
NOEC = 0.054 mg/L
LOEC = 0.081 mg/L
