Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
difficulties rush to hospital.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse eyes thoroughly with running water (approximately 15
minutes)and consult a physician if any symptoms persist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. If skin
irritation persists, call a physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Only as long as the patient is fully conscious: wash mouth
and have the victim drink copious amounts of water (often
vomiting will be induced). Consult a physician if feeling
sick.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Hazardous products of combustion:
carbon oxides, hydrogen fluoride, nitrogen oxides
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Accidental release measures
disposal. Small amounts can be flushed into sewer with
plenty of water.
Handling and storage
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Storage: Keep tightly closed in a dry and cool place. Away from
strong oxidizing agents.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Phenyloxindole is packed in bags which are made of HDPE/PP
woven in PE liner. 200 kg of the substance per bag, with
filling and discharge valve closed with stipe.
