Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water while holding eyelids open for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush area with large amounts
of water. Use soap. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Wash
out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting unless directed
by medical personnel. Seek medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or fire.
May include oxides of carbon and nitrogen.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: During all fire fighting activities, wear appropriate
protective equipment, including self-contained breathing
apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Minimize exposure.
Contain the source of spill if it is safe to do so. Collect
spill with absorbent material. Clean spill area thoroughly.
Place waste in an appropriate labeled, sealed container for
disposal. Care should be taken to avoid environmental
release.
Non-essential personnel should be evacuated from the
affected area. Report emergency situations immediately.
Clean up operations should be undertaken by trained personne
l.
Handling and storage
Minimize generating airborne mists and vapors. Use process
containment, local exhaust ventilation or perform
work under fume hood/fume cupboard. Avoid inhalation and
contact with skin, eye, and clothing. When handling, use
appropriate personal protective equipment. Wash hands and
any exposed skin after removal of PPE.
Storage: Store at room temperature in properly labeled containers.
Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 60-litre polyethylene-lined steel drums
