Additional information

Two tests have been performed in order to assess the biodegradability of N,N-Dimethyldipropylentriamine. The study of Boutonnet (1992) showed that 100% of the substance was degraded after 28 days according to the ISO 7827 (method equivalent to the annexes C3 and C4 cited as Directive 84/449/EEC and to the OECD Guidelines 301 A et 301 E). In addition, the biodegradability of N,N-Dimethyldipropylentriamine was studied in a test performed according to OECD 301E but non-GLP certified. A biodegradation of 99% was observed after 36 days. Based on these data, it can be concluded that N,N-Dimethyldipropylentriamine is readily biodegradable.
