Degradation

In the Zahn-Wellens test biodegradation was assessed to be 50 % in 20 days.

Bioaccumulation

The low log Pow indicates a low lipophilicity and therefore a low bioaccumulation potential. Results from bioaccumulation studies in fish were in agreement with this assumption (Kaka et al., 1978). An accumulation in the food chain is therefore not expected.

Secondary poisoning

Based on the low bioconcentration potential, there is practically no hazard from secondary poisoning.
