Results and discussion
Any other information on results incl. tables
The histopathological findings in various tissues of the rabbit were as follows:
- In the liver, the cell infiltration was found in the Glisson's capsule and the Kupffer`s cells were proliferous and hypertrophic, but the liver cells remained at almost the normal condition.
- The mucous membrane of the stomach exhibited the diffuse necrosis
- The findings in the brain, heart, lung, spleen and kidney were normal
Considering the results, it can be concluded that the liver is an organ easily damageable due to the calcium cyanamide.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Considering the results, it can be concluded that the liver is an organ easily damageable due to the calcium cyanamide.
- Executive summary:
A male rabbit was twice administered into the stomach with 2 g of calcium cyanamide.
