Administrative data

First-aid measures

- General advice: Remove from exposure. Remove contaminated clothing.
- Following inhalation: Remove from contaminated atmosphere and seek medical attention if respiratory irritation occurs.
- Following skin contact: Wash with water and soap.
- Following eye contact: Wash with plenty of water.
- Following ingestion: Flush out mouth with water. in case of ingestion it is desirable to consult a physician.
- Most important symptoms and effects: None.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Use standard fire fighting techniques. Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide or foam.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: none.
- Advice for fire fighter: As with all fires, evacuate personnel to safe area. Fire fighters should use self-contained breathing equipment and protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Make sure all personnel involved in the spill cleanup follow good industrial hygiene practices.
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Avoid that the substance build up static electricity.
- Environmental precautions: Substance does not dissolve in water.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Vacuum or sweep up (wet mopping) spilled material being careful not to create dust. Place sweepings in a chemical waste container.Flush contaminated area with water and detergent. Dipose of waste in accordance with federal, state and local laws.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling: The substance is stable under normal conditions. When powdered, as with all dry powders it is advisable to ground mechanical equipment in contact with dry material to dissipate the potential building up of statc electricity.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: The product must be stored at temperature less than 40 degrees Celcius.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures: Avoid static electricity.
2. Organisational protection measures: Use grounding and personnel protective equipment.
3. Skin protection: Use disposable gloves of nitrile rubber. Use suitable protective clothing.
4. Eye protection: Use safety goggles.
5. Respiratory protection: Use a suitable dust respirator (P2).

Stability and reactivity

1. Reactivity : The substance is stable.
2. Chemical stability: When heated to decomposition material emits irritating and toxic fumes of NOx.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions: Emits acid and irritating and toxic fumes of NOx under fire conditions.
