Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
Take affected persons out into the fresh air.
Personal protection for the First Aider.
Keep warm, position comfortably and cover well.
Take note of the following instructions.
· After inhalation:
In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in the recovery position for transportation.
Supply fresh air or oxygen; call for doctor.
· After skin contact:
Treat affected skin with cotton wool or cellulose. Then wash and rinse thoroughly with water and a
mild cleaning agent.
Cover wound with a sterile dressing.
Immediate medical treatment necessary. Failure to treat burns can prevent wounds from healing.
· After eye contact:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids
occasionally. If symptoms occur, consult a doctor.
Protect unharmed eye.
Call a doctor immediately.
· After swallowing: Do not induce vomiting; call for medical help immediately.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Can form explosive gas-air mixtures.
In case of fire, the following can be released:
Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide
Metal oxide fume
Advice for firefighters
· Protective equipment:
Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.
Wear personal protective equipment.
· Additional information
Cool endangered container(s) with water spray.
Heating of container(s) will cause pressure rise with risk of bursting and subsequent explosion
(BLEVE).
Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Wear personal protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.
Mount respiratory protective device.
Remove persons from danger area.
Keep people at a distance and stay on the windward side.
Keep away from ignition sources.
Environmental precautions:
Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system.
Suppress gases/fumes/haze with water spray.
Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust).
Send for recovery or disposal in suitable receptacles.
Dispose contaminated material as waste according to item Disposal considerations
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Do not flush with water or aqueous cleansing agents
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed receptacles.
Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
Only handle and refill product in closed systems.
Handle with care. Avoid jolting, friction and impact.
Do not refill residue into storage receptacles.
Handle under dry protective gas.
Prevent static electric sparks.
· Information about fire - and explosion protection:
Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.
Protect from heat.
Traces of flammable substances may collect in the steam chamber of enclosed systems. Keep
clear ofignition sources.
Substance/product is self ignitable.
The product is combustible.
Protect against electrostatic charges.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
· Storage:
· Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles:
Store in a cool location.
Store only in the original container.
Unsuitable material for receptacle:
Aluminium
· Information about storage in one common storage facility:
Do not store together with acids.
Do not store together with alkalis (caustic solutions).
Store away from foodstuffs.
Store away from water.
· Further information about storage conditions:
Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed receptacles.
Protect from heat and direct sunlight.
Caution when reopening receptacles with broken seal.
Protect from humidity and water.
Store under dry inert gas.
Store under lock and key and with access restricted to technical experts or their assistants only.
Store in a cool place. Heat will increase pressure and may lead to the receptacle bursting.
Specific end use(s) No further relevant information available.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protective equipment:
· General protective and hygienic measures:
Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.
Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing.
Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
Respiratory protection:
Use suitable respiratory protective device only when aerosol or mist is formed.
· Protection of hands:
Protective gloves.
Check the condition of the gloves prior to each use.
The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the
preparation.
Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the
degradation.
Preventive skin protection by use of skin-protecting agents is recommended.
· Material of gloves
The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further
marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As the product is a preparation of
several substances, the resistance of the glove material can not be calculated in advance and has
therefore to be checked prior to the application.
Fluorocarbon rubber (Viton)
Recommended thickness of the material: >= 0.7 mm
· Penetration time of glove material
EN 420: Minimum requirements for efficiency level 1 for all groups.
The exact break through time has to be obtained from the manufacturer of the protective gloves
and has to be observed.
For the mixture of chemicals mentioned below the penetration time has to be at least 480 minutes
(Permeation according to EN 374 Part 3: Level 6).
· For the permanent contact gloves made of the following materials are suitable:
Fluorocarbon rubber (Viton)
· Not suitable are gloves made of the following materials:
Butyl rubber, BR
Nitrile rubber, NBR
Leather gloves
Strong material gloves
· Eye protection:
Tightly sealed goggles
Face protection
· Body protection: Use protective suit.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity
Chemical stability
No decomposition if used according to specifications.
No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.
Possibility of hazardous reactions
Self igniting on contact with air and dry surfaces.
Violent reaction with air and oxidizing agents.
Contact with water will cause spontaneous hydrolysis. (Can be explosive!)
Contact with water releases flammable gases.
Conditions to avoid
In case of thermal decomposition caused by smouldering and incomplete combustion toxic fumes
may be developed.
Incompatible materials: Protect from contamination.
Hazardous decomposition products:
Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide
Aluminium oxide smoke
Extremely flammable gases.
· Additional information: Incompatible with metals, animal/plant tissue.
Disposal considerations
· Disposal methods
· Precautions for disposal:
Waste treatment methods
· Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
· Waste disposal key:
The disposal of the product has to be carried out in accordance with the legal requirements. EWC
waste codes are strictly industry-oriented, therefore waste classification has to be done by the
waste producer.
· Uncleaned packaging:
· Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
