Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

- no boiling point available, 2-Propanol, 1,1'-[[3-[(3-aminopropyl)amino]propyl]imino]bis-, N-tallow alkyl derivs. decomposes before boiling point, study "CRRA Analysis Department 2009 / K1 KS / Thermal stability and boiling point determination"

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

- One reliable study (fully reliable, Klimisch score 1) is available ("CRRA Analysis Department 2009 / K1 KS / Thermal stability and boiling point determination"), conducted according to EU Method A.2 (Boiling Temperature), with the following result:

The boiling point of the test material, 2-Propanol, 1,1'-[[3-[(3-aminopropyl)amino]propyl]imino]bis-, N-tallow alkyl derivs., cannot be determined. The presence of an exotherm is noted < 313 °C. One endotherm is detected, starting at 319.5°C, but is more or less violently disturbed by exothermic pikes. This thermal behaviour indicates that the sample decomposes when it boils. More then 99 % of the weight is lost before 600 °C. No further studies are available
