Additional information

Limited data on biodegradation are available. According to the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation no biodegradation was observed in a OECD 301C study after 28 d using 100 mg/L test substance and 30 mg/L activated sludge (Information on the chemical published in the Official Bulletin of Economy, Trade and Industry (2002-03-26)). Therefore, 3-amino-4-chlorobenzoic acid is regarded as not readily biodegradable (according to OECD criteria). The test substance is poorly biodegradable.
