First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Make the affected person rest. If
breathing stops, give artificial respiration. Call a doctor.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately rinse with plenty of water for a prolonged
period, keeping the eyes wide open. Consult an
ophtalmologist immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove all contamined clothing and footwear. Wash with soapy
water. Call a doctor.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth out with water. If the person is fully conscious
make him drink water. Call a doctor immediately

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, specific powder, CO2.

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Remove all sources of ignition. Mark out the contaminated
area with signs and prevent access to unauthorized
personnel. Avoid direct discharge into drains.Do not put the
spilled material back into the original container, for
re-use. Absorb the product into porous material. Transfer
the product into a sealable container, properly labeled,
for disposal.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: In production plant the product that does not exhibit the
expected properties (off-specs) is normally recycled to the
washing section for purification or diluted into in-specs
materials.

Users do not normally recycle the product. If they have to
get rid of it, it is normal practice to let the product
polymerize with peroxide and then dispose of it as not
dangerous waste.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The product is polymerized with peroxide and then disposed
of as non dangerous waste.
