Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

For calculation used density: ρwater at 4 °C = 1.0000 g/cm3

To evaluate the drying conditions of the test item a preliminary test in a melting point device was performed.

Description of key information

The relative density of the substance is determined to be between 3.742 and 4.203 at 20 °C depending on the composition of the substance used.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Two GLP studies were conducted.

For form 1 a GLP study was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals. 109: "Density of Iiquids and solids". The density was measured by the gas pycnometer method according to DIN EN ISO 1183-3. The relative density was determined to be 4.203 at 20 °C.

For form 4 a was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals. 109: "Density of Iiquids and solids". The density was measured by the gas pycnometer method according to DIN EN ISO 1183-3. The relative density was determined to be 3.742 at 20 °C.
