Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and seek medical attention if there are
signs of respiratory distress.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected areas with
soap and water. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink large amounts of water and seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water mist, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide are suitable
extinguishing agents.
Product arising from burning: Combustion products may contain carbon and nitrogen oxides
together with some halogenated compounds.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective equipment (cf 2.3.1). Collect spilt
material and dispose of by incineration. Do not allow the
substance to enter into the drains or surface waters.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual handling precautions for organic
chemicals. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and handle in
well ventilated areas. Wear cotton lined rubber gloves and a
face visor or goggles.
Where there is a possibility of dust inhalation, wear
suitable respiratory protective equipment.
Storage: Store in sealed containers away from foodstuffs.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for reuse is not feasible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The hazardous properties may be neutralised by hydrolysis at
high pH and elevated temperature.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method of disposal. Incinerate at high
temperature (>1200 deg C) in a suitable facility equipped
for the removal of nitrogen oxides and halogens.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
