LIGHT MICROSCOPY

The optically investigation of the test item with different magnifications have been investigated. For a better visualization a 10x10 grid with 100 µm squares was used.

At 5x and 20x magnifications no agglomerates can be observed. Examining the 50x magnification, the test item primarily consists of crystalline particles.

Particle Size Distribution

Two test series of 3 measurements each were performed with the test item.

Test series 1:

Percentile  Particle size (µm)  Standard deviation
 D10 2.3 <0.01
 D50 6.9 0.01
 D90 14.9 0.05

Test series 2:

Percentile  Particle size (µm)  Standard deviation
 D10 2.4 0.02
 D50 7.0 0.05
 D90 15.5 0.23
