Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing difficulty persists, seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes with copious water. If irritation persists, seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush affected area with copious water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water
Product arising from burning: May produce oxides of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Before picking up spill, wear the minimum personal
protective equipment specified above. For larger spills a
higher level of personal protective equipment may be needed.
Sweep and shovel spill into an empty plastic-lined
container. Secure cover on waste container and identify for
chemical waste disposal via appropriate procedures. Do
notmix picked-up spills of different chemicals together.
Flushcontaminated area with water only after spill has been
picked up; use sufficient water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Recommended Ventilation: local exhaust ventilation at
generation points for particles.
Respiratory Protection: a P2 dust mask is mandated.
Eye Protection: minimum of safety glasses.
Skin Protection: minimum of butyl rubber gloves.
Storage: No special recommendations are needed for proper storage.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Rolls of coated ribbon will be 4.25 inches wide and 382
meters long. The roll will be held by a half inch
polypropylene band, wrapped in bubble wrap, in a sealed
bag.The roll will be placed in a corrugated cardboard box
withfour other rolls of different composition.
The total amount of reported substance per roll is 4.3 grams
