Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Determination of the Burning Rate

Preparations before the Test:

The test item was loosely filled into a mould. Then the mould was dropped three times from a height of 2 cm onto a solid surface. The lateral limitations were removed and the excess substance was scraped off. A non-combustible and non-porous plate was placed on top of the mould. This was inverted and the mould removed.

Preliminary Test:

The pile was ignited with the flame (minimum diameter 5 mm) of a gas burner. The flame was applied to the end of the pile for two minutes. The test item was observed for a total of 4 minutes. The test item did not ignite.

Main Test:

As the test item could not be ignited in the preliminary test no further testing of the burning rate was required.

Documentation:

All observations were documented in the raw data.

Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The test item diphosphoric acid, compound with 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine (1:2) (CAS 13518-93-9, EC 236-860-0) was used in its initial form. The test item could not be ignited and no smouldering was observed. Therefore, the test item is considered to be not flammable.

Description of key information
