Administrative data
First-aid measures
- General advice: No special measures required. In the case of accident, or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). Show the safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
- Following inhalation: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. If breathing stops, provide artificial respiration. Get medical attention immediately.
- Following skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation or rash occurs, seek medical advice/attention.
- Following eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice/attention.
- Following ingestion: Rinse mouth and then drink plenty of water. Do not give milk or fatty oils. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). Do NOT induce vomiting.
- Most important symptoms and effects: No relevant information available.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water with full jet
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Burning produces irritating, toxic and noxious fumes (including carbon monoxide).
- Advice for fire fighter: No special measures required.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapours. Wear protective clothing and gloves. Avoid heat, flames and other sources of ignition.
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Follow safety measures described in "Handling and Storage" and "Exposure Controls/Personal Protection" sections.
- Environmental precautions: Do not allow to penetrate the ground/soil. Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course. Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system. Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb with inert, non-combustible, inorganic absorbent material (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite). Do not absorb in sawdust or other combustible absorbents. Sweep up and remove to an approved disposal container. Dispose of waste to licensed waste disposal site in accordance with the requirements of the local Waste Disposal Authority.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling: Use Personal Protective Equipment as described in "Exposure Controls/Personal Protection" section. Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace. Prevent formation of aerosols.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store in tightly-closed, original container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Technical protection measures: Ensure workplace is properly ventilated.
- Hand protection: Chemical resistant gloves. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the substance.
- Feet protection: Wear closed-toe shoes.
- Body protection: Oil resistant apron. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
- Eye protection: Tightly sealed goggles according to EN 166:2001
- Respiratory protection: Generally unnecessary in a well-ventilated area. If ventilation is insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn.
Stability and reactivity
- Chemical stability: Stable under normal temperature conditions and recommended use.
- Possibility of hazardous reactions: Not applicable.
- Conditions to avoid: Keep away from heat sources, open flames and sunlight.
- Incompatible materials: Strong oxidising agents. Acids. Bases.
- Hazardous decomposition products: No additional data available.
Disposal considerations
Recycling is preferred to disposal or burning. Disposal must be made according to official regulations. Must not be disposed together with household waste. Do not allow product to reach sewage system.
