Using abinocular magnifier, the substance was visually confirmedas being a powder, not a fiber.

Three measurements were performed under water medium.

This particle size distribution has the following properties:

-    Per cent of particles with diameter ≤ 2 μm : 2.56 %

-    Per cent of particles with diameter ≥ 200 μm : 40.73 %

-    Per cent of particles with 2 μm ≤ diameter ≤ 200 μm : 56.72 %

 

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The particle size distribution of the test item 1,4 DIBROMONAPHTHALENE has been determined and the following results were obtained:
-2.56 % of particles own a diameter under 2 µm.
-56.72 % of particles own a diameter between 2 µm and 200 µm.
-40.73 % of particles own a diameter over 200 µm.
