Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air, out of dangerous area.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Protect unharmed eye. Irrigate copiously with clean, fresh
water for at least 10 minutes, holding the eyelids apart.
Remove contact lenses.
Emergency measure - Skin: If skin irritation persists, call a physician. Wash off
immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the
recovery position. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Clean mouth with water and drink
afterwards plenty of water. Prevent vomiting if possible.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Use water spray, alcohol-restistant foam, dry chemical or
carbon dioxide. Avoid high volume water jet. Do not use a
solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.
Product arising from burning: Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes,
for that purpose wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Ensure adequate ventilation. Use personal protective
equipment.
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica
gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Dam up. Wipe
up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece).
Suppress (knock down) gases/vapours/mists with a water spray
jet. Local authorities should be advised if significant
spillages cannot be contained.
Do not allow to enter drains/surface waters/groundwater.
Handling and storage
Handling: All working methods must always be designed so that exposure
by skin and eye contact with the substance is minimized. As
far as possible, closed or at least splashproof equipment
should be used during filling and metered feeding as well as
during sampling.
For personal protection wear chemicals-resistant gloves,
e.g. safety gloves of chloroprene Level 2 or of butyl rubber
Level 6. Barrier creams may help to protect the exposed
areas of skin, they should however not be applied once
exposure has occurred.
Wear safety glasses, remove and wash contaminated clothing
before re-use. Lightweight protective clothing.
After skin contact, the affected parts of the skin should be
cleaned thoroughly using (:::).
Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the
product. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Avoid
contact with skin and eyes.
Adequate washing facilities should be available in the
immediate vicinity of the work area.
Storage: Store in original container. To maintain product quality,
do not store in heat or direct sunlight. Keep container
tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. No
special restrictions on storage with other products.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Package size: 15 and 30 liter.
Material: canister consists of aluminium and polyethylene.

- Remarks:
- Transport: Not classified as dangerous in the meaning of transport
regulations.
For the internal transportation:
Use original containers or other unbreakable and correctly
labelled containers. Keep containers tightly closed and
secure by suitable measures against falling down.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
Chemical reaction with water: Not known.
Dust explosion: Not applicable; substance is a liquid.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
