Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air from exposure. Seek medical attention
as necessary. If breathing is irregular or has stopped,
start resuscitation; administer oxygen if available.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately with clean water for at least fifteen (15)
minutes. If irritation persists seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove any contaminated clothing or shoes. Wash affected
areas with soap and water to dilute. Seek medical attention
immediately.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Give water to dilute, seek medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical or foam
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide and unidentified organic compounds
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing
should be worn
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Eliminate all ignition sources. Ventilate area. Absorb on
vermiculite or other suitable absorbent material. Use of
self-contained breathing apparatus is recommended for any
major chemical spills. Place material and absorbent into
sealed containers and dispose of in accordance with current
applicable laws and regulations. Wash down spill site with
copious quantities of water to remove residual material. All
washings to be collected and disposed of in accordance with
Section 6.1.3. Prevent spilled material from entering water
supplies.
Handling and storage
Handling: Use splash goggles or face shield if eye contact is likely
to occur. Use chemical resistant gloves as needed to avoid
prolonged or repeated contact.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area away from heat in
sealed metal drums. Keep containers tightly closed and
upright.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Absorb the material with a suitable absorbent and recover
the material by mechanical or solvent extraction with
acetone or similar common organic solvents.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The substance does not possess any potentially hazardous
effects to man, hence, neutralisation is not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Place material and absorbent into a sealed container and
incinerate in accordance with current applicable laws and
regulations.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable. The public at large get an intentional
mixture.
