Administrative data
First-aid measures
In case of inhalation: In case of accident, take it outdoors and put it in a position that favors breathing. If there may be presence of vapors, a suitable mask is needed. If the affected person does not breathe, has irregular breathing or stops breathing, perform artificial respiration or oxygen by qualified personnel.
It can be dangerous performing the "mouth to mouth" maneuver. Urgent transport to the hospital and consult the toxicological information center.
In case of skin contact: Wash immediately and thoroughly with water and remove all contaminated clothing. Transport of the affected person to the hospital, and consult the toxicological information center.
In case of contact with eyes: Wash immediately and abundantly with water and consult a specialist. Transport of the affected person to the hospital, and consult the toxicological information center.
In case of ingestion: In case of accident, rinse mouth with plenty of water, do not induce vomiting, if vomiting occurs, keep head down to prevent vomiting from entering the lungs. Urgent transport to the hospital and consult the toxicological information center.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, constipation, depression of the central nervous system and respiratory depression.
Indication of all medical care and special treatments to be dispensed immediately
Call a doctor immediately. It may be necessary to administer oxygen. There are antidotes for opiates, for example Naloxone.
Fire-fighting measures
Water spray, foam, dry powder, CO2.
Contraindicated media: High-pressure water jet as it disperses the product.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
In case of combustion or heating to decomposition, it may emit nitric vapors (NOx) which are toxic.
Advice for firefighters
Self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Intervene with the appropiate means of personal protection
Environmental precautions
Collect spillage. Avoid releasing into the environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning
Avoid spreading dust, dispersion on the floor, water or sewage systems. Recover all product in a tightly closed container and labeled. After completion of material recovery, ventilate the area and wash with plenty of water.
Handling and storage
Aspiration in the workplace: Absolutely avoid inhalation (aerosol) and all contact with eyes and skin. Avoid exposition during pregnancy. Avoid ignition points.
Other measures: As with powdered products, avoid the accumulation of electrostatic charges with the appropriate materials and methods. Handling at specific place to narcotics.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Keep out of the light. Store locked.
Specific end uses:
Synthesis intermediates.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Intervene with appropriate individual means of protection.
- Respiratory protection with dust filter.
- Eyes: glasses.
- Hands: Gloves of suitable material.
- Body: complete combination.
- In case of emission of dust (grinding) respiratory apparatus with free air intake or compressed.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical Stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: In case of combustion or heating to decomposition, it may emit nitrous vapors (NOx) that are toxic.
Conditions to avoid: Thermal decomposition: product stable under normal conditions of use.
Exposed material loses hydration water.
Protect from light as it is a product sensitive to light, it can degrade when exposed to it.
Incompatible Materials: Oxidizing agents and alkaline compounds.
Hazardous decomposition products: In case of combustion or heating to decomposition, it may emit nitrous vapors (NOx) that are toxic.
Disposal considerations
Appropriate Disposal / Product: Do not throw into the environment. Collect and store separately.
Additional information: Destruction according to the regulation of narcotics. Follow local and national regulations in force.
