Additional information

In accordance with Annex VIII, Column 2 a study on adsorption / desorption does not need to be conducted since based on the physicochemical parameters of the substance adsorption is not expected. The substance belongs to the category of phthalocyanines. Phthalocyanines resemble in structure as well as physical and chemical properties, such as the log Kow (e.g. CAS 147-14-8: log Kow of -1; CAS 28901-96-4: log Kow of -0.11). The physicochemical characteristics of phthalocyanines indicate that the substance will not adsorb to soil or suspended matter. The water solubility of the substance is very high and the resulting log Kow is negative. Therefore, adsorption of the test substance is not expected.
