Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash off with warm water and soap.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Induce vomiting by ingestion of big amount of product only.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If signs/symptoms continue, get medical attention.
- Indication of immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Notes to Physician: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Water mist. Foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Compressed carbon dioxide - danger of dust generation.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Avoid dust generaration (organic dust can be initiate static electricity).
- Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
Accidental release measures
For non-emergency personnel:
Emergency procedures: Evacuate the danger area and alert emergency team.
- Environmental Precautions:
Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Report according to local regulations.
- Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
For cleaning up: Clean up mechanically, sweep up carefully, and collect in duplicate, entire labelled packing (PE bag, drum, container). Wash place of spillage with 8% acetic acid and water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Handle with substance only in original and closed package. Wear personal protective equipment.
Hygiene Measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in original container. Protect from light. Store in a dry place and/or in closed container. Store with temperature up to +25 °C. Do not store with flammables.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure Limits: Authority in the Czech Republic determined for this product a maximum acceptable air concentration value: NPK 0,001 mg/m3
Exposure controls:
Engineering Measures: Provide engineering control, according to Company Guidelines. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas. Local containment solutions. (LEV, downflow booth, direct connections or other enclosure e.g. inflatable seal).
Special Requirements: Weigh in laminar box only. Use closed technology. Before breaks and after handling wash
thoroughly hands. In laboratory handle within a chemical or weighing hood or use other ventilated enclosure.
Personal protective equipment:
- Eye/face protection: Approved safety goggles/glasses. Full face mask, hood or goggles.
- Skin protection: - Body protection Long sleeved clothing. Closed work shoes. Disposable garment (e.g. Tyvek), shoes covers and enclosed shoes.
- Hand protection Rubber gloves. Double gloves.
- Respiratory Protection Approved full face respirator P3 or airline respirator. In controlled containment respiratory protection dependent on IH monitoring.
- Recommended Filter type: P3.
Environmental exposure controls: Contaminated protective equipments must be considered as dangerous waste.
Stability and reactivity
- Chemical Stability: Stable under normal conditions.
- Possibility of hazardous reactions: None under normal processing.
- Conditions to avoid: High temperature.
- Incompatible materials: No information available.
- Hazardous decomposition products: Combustion may emit toxic and choking fumes of: carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Disposal considerations
Waste from Residues/Unused Products: Can be incinerated, when in compliance with local regulations. Before incineration, humidify the substance.
Contaminated Packaging: Contaminated package must be disposed as residue of substance.
