Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information
Remove contaminated soaked clothing immediately.
In case of inhalation
Ensure of fresh air.
In case of skin contact
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water.
In case of eye contact
In case of contact with eyes rinse with plenty of water carefully. In the event of persistent symptoms seek medical
treatment.
In case of ingestion
If swallowed seek medical advice immediately and show the doctor packing or label.
Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media
Dry fire-extinguishing substance
Carbon dioxide
Dry sand
Water spray jet
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons
Full water jet
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases
Fire gas of organic material has to be classed invariably as respiratory poison
.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters
Use breathing apparatus with independent air supply ( isolated ).
Additional information
Cool endangered containers with water spray jet.
Collect contaminated firefighting water separately, must not be discharged into the drains.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Use personal protective clothing.
Use breathing apparatus if exposed to vapours/dust/aerosol.
Environmental precautions
Collect contaminated water / firefighting water separately.
Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater.
Methods for cleaning up
Take up with absorbent material (e.g. sand, kieselguhr, acid binder, general-purpose binder, sawdust).
After taking up the material dispose according to regulation.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling
Take the usual precautions when handling with chemicals
.
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels
Use polyethylene containers.
Do not use copper or aluminum container
Only use containers that are approved specifically for the substance/product.
Further information on storage conditions
Keep container tightly closed and store at cool and aired place.
Protect from light.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Additional advice on system design
Local exhaustion or technical room ventilation.
Respiratory protection
Breathing apparatus in the event of aerosol or mist formation.
Hand protection
Glove material specification [make/type, thickness, permeation time/life, wetting resistance]: Nitrile; 0.4 mm; >240 min.
The protective gloves to be used must comply with the specifications of EC directive 89/686/EEC and the resultant
standard EN374.
Eye protection
safety goggles with side protection
Skin protection
protective clothing
General protective measures
Avoid contact with eyes and skin
Do not inhale aerosols
Hygiene measures
Please observe work hygiene regulations
At work do not eat, drink, smoke or take drugs.
Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.
Wash hands before breaks and after work.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid
No data available
Materials to avoid
Cupper or alumimium container
Hazardous decomposition products
With regard to possible decomposition products refer to Section 5.
Thermal decomposition
Remark No decomposition if suitable use.
Disposal considerations
Recommendations for the product
There are no harmonised regulations on the disposal of chemicals in the member states of the EU. In Germany, the
Recycling and Waste Management Act 8 KrW-/AbfG) stipulates recycling as a requirement.
This means that a distinction must be made between "wastes for recycling" and "wastes for disposal". Particular
aspects - in the main concerning delivery - are also governed by the Laender.
Recommendations for packaging
Totally emptied packaging may be taken for recycling.
General information
The waste code must be allocated in compliance with the EAK-regulation referring to the specific process and the sector
