Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Study technically not feasible → Tests in aqueous media with ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate with the intent to determine effective concentrations or no effect concentrations can not be performed due to technical reasons based on the chemical properties of the monomer. In presence of moisture ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate polymerises within seconds (inherent property of ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate based instant glues). Thus, very low determined monomer concentrations in water represent a non steady state situation from which a defined effective concentration can not be derived.
