First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:
General advice: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely.
If inhaled: Take medical treatment.
In case of skin contact: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with plenty of water.
In case of eye contact: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice
If swallowed: When swallowed seek medical aid immediately and show the physician the packaging or the label of the packaging.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms: No information available.
Hazards: Danger of reduced reaction capability (sedative).
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treatment: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media: Water. Carbon dioxide. Dry powder. Foam.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Nitrous gases (NOx)
Advice for firefighters:
Special protective equipment for firefighting: Use self-contained breathing apparatus.
Further information: Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Avoid dust formation. Use personal protective clothing.
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow to enter drains or waterways.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
General advice: Take up mechanically
Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly, observing environmental regulations
When picked up, treat material as prescribed under heading "Disposal".
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Advice on safe handling (industrial scale): Avoid the formation and deposition of dust. Provide exhaust ventilation if dust is formed. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic loading.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Avoid formation of dust Observe the general rules of industrial fire protection
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Keep only in the original container
Further information on storage conditions: Keep only in the original container at temperature not exceeding 60 °C Keep or store under lock and key, with access restricted to experts or their representatives

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protective equipment
General protective measures: Do not inhale dust Contact with eyes and skin must be avoided It is essential for pregnant women to avoid inhaling the product and not to let it come in contact with the skin. Warning drivers of machines on risks of drowsiness. A workplace risk assessment must be carried out in order to determine the correct engineering control measures and personal protective equipment. Protective clothing should be selected specifically for the working place, depending on concentration and quantity of the hazardous substances handled. The resistance of the protective clothing to chemicals should be ascertained with the respective supplier.
Respiratory protection: Particle filter half mask, filter P3. Powered Air-purifying respirator (PAPR) - mounted airhat
Hand protection: Plastic gloves impermeable gloves Nitrile rubber gloves. Glove material : Dermatril® (KCL) Layer thickness : 0,11 mm Break through time: > 480 min
Glove material : Camatril® (KCL) Layer thickness : 0,5 mm Break through time: > 480 min
The protective gloves to be used must comply with the specifications of EC directive 89/686/EEC and the resultant standart EN374. This recommandation applies only to the product stated in this safety data sheet and supplied by us as well as to the purpose specified by us. When dissolving in or mixing with other substances and under conditions deviating from those stated in EN374 please contact the supplier of CE-approved gloves.
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side protection shield.
Body Protection: protective clothing
Additional advice on system design: Use under strictly controlled conditions.
Hygiene measures: Do not eat or drink during work time. Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages. Wash hands before breaks and after work
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: No decomposition if used as directed.
Chemical stability: No decomposition if stored normally
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No hazardous reactions when stored and handled according to prescribed instructions.
Conditions to avoid: No data available.
Incompatible materials: None known.
Hazardous decomposition products: Supposed thermal decomposition/oxidation: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Disposal considerations
Product: In accordance with regulations for special waste, must be taken to an authorised special waste incineration plant. Destruction must be documented to ensure misuse does not occur
Uncleaned packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed off as product waste
