Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
According to the results the test item is classified as follows:

UN Transport Regulation: The test item does not have to be classified as readily combustible solid in class 4 division 4.1.

GHS (CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008: Annex 1: 2.7): The test item does not have to be classified as flammable solid according.

Regulation EC 440/2008 and Directive 67/548/EEC: The test item does not have to be classified as highly flammable solid.
Executive summary:

The test item was tested for flammability according to the  Recommendations on the TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS: Manual of Tests and Criteria, 5th edition, New York and Geneva, 2009: Part III, Division 4.1, Section 33, Test N.1..

The test item ignited at room temperature using a flame as ignition source being applied for at least 2 minutes. Due to the fact, that the spread of fire can be considered as slow with a burning time of approx. 2 minutes for a distance of approx. 10 – 15 cm. After the substance burned over a distance of 15 cm, the flame extinguished. Therefore the performance of the main test was not necessary.
