Executive summary:

Fungal growth inhibition determination of test material was carried out by microplate plate. The test substance was dissolved in dimethyl sulphoxide. The test organism used was fungal species i.e. Aspergillus niger N402. The fungal species was incubated with title compound at 37 deg C for 40 h and growth inhibition was determined by measuring at 590 nm. The Minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) value of the test substance to the fungi Aspergillus niger N402 was determined to be 25 mg/l.
