Any other information on results incl. tables

Individual results

Mechanical sensitivity (friction): The test item was sieved (mesh size 0.5 mm) before the measurement. No explosion occurred within 6 tests using a pinload of 360 N, only a discoloration of the test item was observed in all tests.

Mechanical sensitivity (shock): The test item was sieved (mesh size 0.5 mm) before the measurement. No explosion within 6 tests using a mass of 10 kg falling from a height of 0.4 m was observed, only a decomposition (smell) in 1 of 6 tests was observed.

Thermal sensitivity: Three tests were performed with a circular nozzle plate with a hole of 2 mm diameter and three tests were performed with a circular nozzle plate with a hole of 6 mm diameter. No explosion was observed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non explosive
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The substance shows no explosive properties.
Executive summary:

The substance was tested for explosive properties according to European Commission Regulation No. 440/2008, Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties A. 14 Explosive Properties.

Tests for thermal sensitivity, machanical sensitivity with respect to shock and for mechanical sensitivity with respect to friction were performed. In all cases no explosive proüerties could be detected.
