Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

48-hour EC50 value of >100 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A 48-hour EC50 value of >100 mg/L has been determined for the effects of the test substance on mobility of Daphnia magna when tested with adjustment of test medium pH (LPT, 2003). Due to marked alkaline reactions of the test item in a first test set a second test

set with adjustment of the pH-value in the medium was carried out to avoid pH

value related effects onto Daphnia. The results are based on nominal concentrations of the substance. However the test substance hydrolyses in water and it is therefore likely that the test organisms were primarily exposed to the hydrolysis products of the substance.
