Administrative data
First-aid measures
Take persons to a safe place. Observe self-protection for first aid.
After inhalation:
Keep the patient calm. If unconscious place in stable sideways position. Protect against loss of body heat. Seek medical advice and clearly identify substance.
After contact with the skin:
Remove contaminated or soaked clothing. Immediately rinse with plenty of soap and water. In the event of a visible skin change or other complaints, seek medical advice (show label or SDS where possible).
After contact with the eyes:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water for 10-15 minutes. Keep eyelids well open to rinse the whole eye surface and eyelids with water. Seek medical advice in case of continuous irritation.
After swallowing:
If conscious, give several small portions of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice and clearly identify substance.
Fire-fighting measures
Cool endangered containers with water.
Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray, extinguishing powder, alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide.
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons:
Water jet.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases:
At low oxygen level organic decomposition products.
Special protective equipment for fire fighting:
Use respiratory protection independent of recirculated air.
Accidental release measures
Keep unprotected persons away. Wear personal protection equipment. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Environmental precautions:
Prevent material from entering surface waters, drains or sewers and soil. Dispose of in prescribed marked containers. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Methods for cleaning up:
Absorb with a liquid binding material such as diatomaceous earth and dispose of according to local/state/federal regulations. Contain larger amounts and pump up into suitable containers.
Eliminate all sources of ignition.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Ensure adequate ventilation. Spilled substance increases risk of slipping.
Precautions against fire and explosion:
Keep away from sources of ignition and do not smoke. In case of fire remove container out of endangered area. Cool endangered containers with water. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic charging. Vapours may form in closed rooms with air mixtures, leading to explosion in the presence of sources of ignition, even in empty, uncleaned vessels.
Storage:
Store in the original container. Keep container dry and tightly closed. Store cool.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not breathe vapours. Do not eat, drink or smoke when handling.
Personal protection equipment:
Respiratory protection:
In open handling gas mask filter ABEK .
Hand protection:
Nitrile rubber protective gloves . Gloves suitable for up to 60 minutes' use.
Eye protection:
Tight fitting protective goggles .
Skin protection:
Protective gloves, protective goggles/face protection .
Exposure to the environment limited and controlled:
Prevent material from entering surface waters, drains or sewers and soil.
Stability and reactivity
If stored and handled in accordance with standard industrial practices no hazardous reactions are known.
Conditions to avoid:
Keep away from incompatible substances.
Materials to avoid:
Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products:
If stored and handled in accordance with standard industrial practices and local regulations where applicable none known .
Disposal considerations
Dispose of according to regulations by incineration in a special waste incinerator. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Uncleaned packaging:
Completely discharge containers (no tear drops, no powder rest, scraped carefully). Containers may be recycled or re-used. Observe local/state/federal regulations. Uncleaned packaging should be treated with the same precautions as the material.
