Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH annex IX, further aquatic and sediment degradation testing (required in section 9.2.1.2 and 9.2.1.4) does not need to be conducted as the chemical safety assessment does not indicate a need for further investigation. The substance has a very low log Koc value and is not bioaccumulative. In addition, direct and indirect exposure of the sediment compartment is unlikely. Further, as the substance degradates rapidly in contact with water (hydrolysis) biodegradation tests on the substance itself are technically not feasible and scientifically not justified.
