The PNEC aqua was derived on the basis of the lowest actue toxicity test (LC50 or EC50) for all 3 trophic levels (fish, daphnia , algae) and applying an assessmentfactor of 1000. The PNEC aqua base on the test for acute toxicity in fish : PNEC aqua = 5.74 mg/l/ 1000 = 0.00574 mg/l

PNEC marine aqua: The PNEC marine aqua was derived on the basis of the lowest actue toxicity test (LC50 or EC50) for all 3 trophic levels (fish, daphnia , algae) and applying an assessmentfactor of 10000. The PNEC aqua base on the test for acute toxicity in fish : PNEC aqua = 5.74 mg/l/ 10000 = 0.000574 mg/l

PNEC aqua intermittent: The PNEC aqua intermittent was derived on the basis of the lowest actue toxicity test (LC50 or EC50) for all 3 trophic levels (fish, daphnia , algae) and applying an assessmentfactor of 100. The PNEC aqua intermittent base on the test for acute toxicity in fish : PNEC aqua = 5.74 mg/l/ 100 = 0.0574 mg/l

Conclusion on classification

Based on the acute aquatic toxicity data for the 3 trophic levels (fish, daphnia, algae), the test substance has to be considered as toxic for aquatic organisms. Based on the classification scheme considering aquatic toxicity (LC50: 5.74) and biodegradation (readily biodegradable ) the test substance is not classified.
