Testing for sskin sensitisation is not justified on scientific grounds or for reasons of animal welfare. The local dermal effects of the substance will be dominated by irritation/corrosion and sensitisation is considered to be unlikely. Additionally it is noted that there is no evidence that ammonia/ammonium or fluoride are skin sensitisers.
